Hi, I'm Dan Dragon — a Senior Software Engineer who builds front-ends that work for everyone. I'm an IAAP-certified accessibility professional (CPWA), which means inclusive design isn't an afterthought in my work — it's the point. Day to day that looks like TypeScript and component architecture, WCAG audits and the fixes that follow, and the cloud and delivery work (Azure, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD) that gets it all shipped.

I hold a combined BS/MS in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems from The College of Saint Rose. I joined Jahnel Group, an Inc. 5000 company, in 2021 and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer in 2024. There I've been embedded with ZeniMax Online Studios on the Elder Scrolls Online web presence, where I led the account ecosystem's upgrade to WCAG 2.1 AA. Before Jahnel I was at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company, working in the financial industry's CRM space.

I've taught continuing-education courses at SUNY Adirondack since 2017 — see classes — and I serve as Director of Technology on the board of Friends of Fort Hardy Park. This site is where I keep my resume, work history, certifications, and an occasional blog.
